After the first electoral round last weekend, which marked the run-off between Vito Leccese and Fabio Romito, the picture of who will occupy the seats of the Bari City Council for the five-year administrative period 2024-2029 is starting to emerge. The electoral data provide a scenario between winning parties and lists that obtained less positive results from the polls. Below is the balance of the coalitions and lists that will enter the Dalfino chamber

VITO LECCESE: In first place is the Democratic Party with 19.77% of the votes, ready to bring up to 10 municipal councilors in the event of victory in the run-off by the Leccese coalition, by virtue of the acquisition of the prize of majority. At the top of the list Elisabetta Vaccarella, the most supported ever with 3931 votes, followed by the outgoing councilor for the Environment and Sport Pietro Petruzzelli (3011), by the former president of Municipality 1 Lorenzo Leonetti (2267) and by the outgoing councilor for ‘Education, Paola Romano (1879). Scrolling through the ranking we find the names of the current president of the municipal council, Michelangelo Cavone, Giovanna Salemmi, Domenico Scaramuzzi, Antonio Bozzo and Marco Bronzini. The Decaro list for Bari is also good (9.98%): in first place is the Heritage Councilor Vito Lacoppola (2164) followed by his colleague in the Council, with responsibility for economic activities, Carla Palone (1701). In the top 5 we also find Nicola Loprieno (1231), Angela Perna (1201), and Pietro Albenzio (1035). The list With Leccese mayor, however, sees in the top 3 respectively Romeo Ranieri (1728), Nicoletta Milone (1294) and Francesco Giannuzzi (1142). The lists of Leccese Sindaco and Progetto Bari will also enter the Council. The first is led by Pierluigi Introna and the outgoing president of Municipality 4 Grazia Albergo, with 678 and 570 votes respectively. The second, however, saw the former president of the board of directors of the Bari-based subsidiary Rete Gas Diego De Marzo at the top with 801.

FABIO ROMITO: the center-right coalition is led by the Brothers of Italy with 11.13% of the votes. At the top of the preferences is Pino Viggiano (1308), reconfirmed in the Dalfino chamber. Following the new entry Laura De Marzo (1058). Another five years in the Municipality for Antonio Ciaula (1040). Fourth Irma Melini with 808, ready to return to the City Council. The second list of the coalition is Romito mayor (6.25%): the first two are Valeria Amoruso (917) and Carlo Patruno (552). UDC-Prima Italy obtained 4.31% with Giuseppe Neviera who was reconfirmed as councilor (884) votes. Forza Italia will also enter the Dalfino chamber, the list sees Giuseppe Carrieri stand out with 666 votes.

MICHELE LAFORGIA: the most voted list of the team is Laforgia mayor (5.98%) with Victor Laforgia (733 votes) and Giovanni Moretti (550) at the top. By a very narrow margin (5.96% of preferences) the M5S is in second place: the most voted are the outgoing city councilors Antonello Delle Fontane and Italo Carelli (with 846 and 416 votes respectively). Bari Bene Comune was led by the outgoing councilor for Welfare, Francesca Bottalico (1372 votes). Bari Città D’Europa also enters the Council with Pasquale Lavopa at the top of the preferences (940).
