The League confirmed itself as the second center-right force in Viareggio after the Brothers of Italy. Satisfaction is expressed by the municipal secretary Maria Pacchini who is already launching the challenge of the entire centre-right in the next administrative elections.
“I am very satisfied – she said – not only because in Viareggio the League obtained 7%, positioning itself widely as the second party of the centre-right coalition in the city but even more so for the number of preferences that we were able to express as a section – well 1432 – absolute thirds and firsts in proportional terms if we look at the number of votes collected by the parties”.
According to Pacchini, a sign of great strength. “The whole section has worked well in these months of the electoral campaign, bringing 409 preferences to Susanna Ceccardi, second only to an extraordinary Roberto Vannacci, first in all of Italy and widely supported, both within the party and outside, even in Viareggio.
Looking at the result of the entire centre-right “it seems to me that we should be equally optimistic – concludes the municipal secretary of the League – as there are clear conditions to be competitive also in the next municipal elections to change the political profile of the city, definitively closing with the unsuccessful experience of Del Ghingaro’s former PD and open up to a new season where the center-right is once again the protagonist in the government of Viareggio”.
