Diversity Olympics, the event at the San Michele Hospital in Aprilia

Tomorrow 12 June, San Michele Hospital will host the Diversity Olympics, an initiative within a transgenerational project dedicated to our patients. The event will see the participation of children from various schools and after-school centers in Aprilia, offering a unique opportunity for sharing and fun for everyone.

A day of mixed team games

Starting from 10am in the external areas of the SMH grandparents and children will form mixed teams to participate in various sporting activities designed to promote the culture of diversity as an opportunity. This event aims to contribute to breaking down stereotypes about ageism, raising awareness among new generations of social prejudices towards the elderly.

Inclusive Activities for Everyone

The organizers have prepared a series of games and competitions suitable for all ages and physical conditions, ensuring an inclusive and fun experience for all participants. The activities are designed not only to promote physical and mental well-being, but also to encourage team spirit and socialization among participants.

The Magic of Pet Therapy with Fernando il Poni

The day will be made even more special by the visit of Fernando, a splendid pony who will bring joy to adults and children. Fernando’s presence will offer a moment of therapeutic interaction, exploiting the benefits of pet therapy to improve the mood and well-being of our patients.

Appointment on Wednesday 12th at 10am to share moments of joy and sportsmanship together! #yourhealthourmission.
