A life of crimes for the 74-year-old from Aprilia, Giuseppe Corvino: the man is subject to special surveillance
Today, 11 June, the Carabinieri of the Operational Department-Investigation Unit of Latina, directed by Lieutenant Colonel Antonio De Lise, notified a decree for the application of the special public security surveillance measure, issued by Criminal Section III, Specialized Section – measures of prevention of the Civil and Criminal Court of Rome, at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of Latina, against the 74 year old from Aprilia, Giuseppe Corvino.
The man is considered dangerous as a person who habitually lives on the proceeds of criminal activity and dedicated to committing crimes that endanger public safety and tranquility.
The investigation activity, carried out by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit, under the direction of the Pontine Prosecutor’s Office, made it possible to demonstrate how the 74-year-old, almost without interruption, has been a person dedicated to activities since he was little more than 18 years of age. criminal such as crimes of extortion, against the person, weapons and drugs.
The provision will oblige the man, for the next 3 years, not to leave the municipality of residence or habitual abode, not to leave his home during the hours between 9.00 pm and 6.30 am, to immediately start looking for a job and to do not associate with people who have been convicted and are subject to prevention measures.
The last of the episodes involving the 74-year-old Corvino from a criminal point of view dates back to last year, as part of an anti-drug operation by the Carabinieri of the Latina Investigation Unit. An investigation born from double murder of Erik D’Arienzoson of the well-known Ermanno D’Arienzo known as “Topolino”, and of Fabrizio Morettofor whose killing, as is known, “Mickey Mouse” himself was arrested.
In November 2023, the Carabinieri executed the dispositive order of personal precautionary measure issued by the Judge for preliminary investigations of the Court of Latina, Mario La Rosa, at the request of the deputy prosecutors of Latina, Andrea D’Angeli and Martina Taglione, in against 2 people held responsible for the crime of drug dealing. It’s about Antonio Arena (75 years old), originally from Palermo and cousin of D’Arienzo’s wife, and, precisely, Giuseppe Corvino (73 years old), originally from Casal Di Principe, recipients of the measure of the obligation to report to the police judicial (signature obligations).

Giuseppe Corvino, manager of a car showroom, is not a new name to judicial news. It also recently ended up in the reports given to the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Rome by the justice collaborator, former affiliate of the Ciarelli clan, Andre Pradissitto. The son-in-law of Ferdinando “Furt” Ciarelli, number two of the clan of the same name, also spoke about it in reference to the Pontine criminal war of 2010 (between the Roma clans and the Latin underworld): “With regards to Fabrizio Marchetto (editor’s note: Latina character who, according to the investigators, was part of the faction against the Roma clans) neither I nor my father-in-law had weapons available at the time, so we went to Peppe Corvino at his house and my father-in-law made a request to find more weapons available than any type. And Corvino’s name appears in Pradissitto’s minutes even when “Furt’s” son-in-law talks about the meetings in which the Ciarelli and Di Silvio Roma clans planned revenge against Massimiliano Moro, believed to be the instigator of the seven gunshots that struck, but did not kill him , Carmine Ciarelli known as “Porchettone”, the boss of the Ciarelli clan. In those phases, someone, in particular “Furt”, hypothesized that the shooter against “Porchettone” had been a man sent by the Casalesi with whom there had been conflicts precisely because of Corvino. It was “Furt” Ciarelli who intervened in defense of Corvino, harassed by the Casalesi transplanted between Cisterna and Nettuno – including the daughter of the repentant Carmine Schiavone and her husband, Pasquale Noviello.
“Everyone had their say but the two opinions with the greatest weight were those of my father-in-law, Furte and his nephew Macù – Pradissitto declares in the minutes – My father-in-law was of the opinion that the attack came from outside by a cell of the Casalesi who had settled in Nettuno, headed by Pasquale Noviello, husband of Maria Rosaria Schiavone, daughter of Carmine; this family was doing extortion in and around Nettuno and then went to touch one of my father-in-law’s men, Peppe Corvino from Casal di Principe. He owned a dealership but was under my father-in-law’s loan. The Casalesi I referred to had set fire to several of Peppe Corvino’s cars and he had asked my father-in-law to intervene. My father-in-law told Peppe Corvino to organize a meeting between him and Pasquale Noviello who, if I remember correctly, was a fugitive at the time. My father-in-law reiterated to Noviello that the dealership was owned by him and that they could do what they wanted in the area but they shouldn’t affect his interests. So Noviello reacted badly by saying that he would continue until he extended himself to Latina and the entire Pontine countryside“.
There figure of Giuseppe Corvino is believed by the Carabinieri to be that of Arena’s drug supplier. There would even be a book “by Peppino” where the accounting of the drugs provided by Corvino himself to Arena was reported. And Corvino, according to the Carabinieri, would also do his utmost in drug dealing activities. The drug transfers between Corvino and Arena also allegedly took place in the car park of the dealership managed by the former.
