From California to Tuscany. Elite Euro Talent, born many years ago as the first and only exhibition camp dedicated exclusively to European players in the USA, moves from the United States to Italy for the sixth continental edition.

This is a camp with NCAA-style showcases: events in which university basketball coaches are authorized to watch the players to be recruited live.

Today this event, which has given great visibility to young players with the desire to play/study at American schools and universities and Italian clubs, is still confirmed in our country and precisely in Arezzo.

Elite Euro Talent Italy Camp & Showcase 2024 will therefore present sixty young basketball players from all over Italy and half of Europe, aged from 13 to 18, therefore also interesting for the youth sectors of Italian clubs. Pre-evaluated by the technical staff, they will train and play to get noticed and to show off. This is a unique event of its kind, in fact in past editions prestigious clubs such as Virtus and Fortitudo Bologna, Orange1 Bassano, Stella Azzurra, Mens Sana Siena and many others have participated in the activities to “scout” the talents present. Participants come from different European countries such as Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Bulgaria and also from overseas. Furthermore, the large group of Italian talents comes from every corner of the country.

Several participants in past editions have received excellent opportunities; among others, the case of the talented Quinten Post, a 210cm Dutch small forward who after the event first signed for Alba Berlin and subsequently flew to the USA to play in the NCAA, is currently considered an NBA prospect.

The technical director of the Elite Euro Talent Camp & Showcase is Jason Benadretti, Californian, former NCAA coach and former NBA scout for the Orlando Magic, currently trainer for the individual improvement of various NBA players, including Derrick Rose and Michael Porter Jr .

Tomaso Sasdelli is responsible for scouting. Scout NCAA, he runs one of the most important agencies specializing in young talents in the youth basketball scene in Italy and Europe.

The person responsible for physical preparation will be Jacopo Mulinacci, former trainer at Mens Sana Siena and Orange1 Bassano, currently at the Cento team in Serie A2.

The Elite Euro Talent will take place from 24 to 29 June, at the Pala Estra (Caselle) in Arezzo. The event has been sold-out for months, the 60 places were already sold out at the end of March.

Entry to the event venue is reserved only for professionals (coaches, scouts, sports directors and media), upon registration or invitation from the staff.

On the evening of June 25th, at 9pm at the Hotel Minerva, a conference will also be held on the recruitment system of student-athletes in American schools and universities, open to the public and free of charge, upon registration at the e-mail: info@eliteurotalent. com
