The Knight, continues the daughter, “he was the most political leader persecuted in the world with more than 4 thousand hearings, 86 trials. A persistence by a part of the politicized judiciary, which lasted almost 30 years and which seriously compromised its health“. Berlusconi was put under investigation by various prosecutors in the country and with a trial, which was then resolved with no results, he was ousted from politics for a very long time. He only managed to return to the Senate in the last legislature , in 2022, but his distance from active politics for a period of time close to 10 years has had a profound impact on the history of this country.
