The «PerCorsa» health campaign arrives in Piedmont on Saturday 15 June, days of information, prevention, screening and sport dedicated to patients with chronic respiratory diseases, their families and the general population.
The Novara stage (at the Maggiore hospital in Corso Mazzini 18) includes free screening of the population from 9.00 to 11.00 with medical consultations and the possibility of undergoing a spirometry test; it then continues from 11.00 to 13.00 with a conference that addresses the themes of the campaign through the interventions of operational specialists in the specialized centres. Finally, at 1.30 pm the appointment with the city race, a “relay” which ideally delivers the baton of the project to the reference center of the next stage.

Asthma and severe asthma, nasal polyposis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and bronchiectasis: these are the chronic respiratory diseases protagonists of the «PerCorsa» health campaign, pathologies that affect the lungs and respiratory tracts and concern 7% of the Italian population, with a greater contribution by asthma, causing a strong impact on the quality of life of patients and their families, especially due to the frequent diagnostic delay and the consequent delay in a correct therapeutic approach.
