It was a particularly fruitful school year in terms of sport for the students of ISIS GALILEI-ARTIGLIO. “Since this year, in fact, the spotlight has once again been turned on on the importance that the values of sporting activity can have on the formation of the character of our young people”, states the Headmaster Vanda Zurrida.
“Many students of the Institute (for a total of 61 students) took part in the Student Championships promoted by the Provincial Education Office – he continues –. The provincial phases of cross-country running, track athletics and 3-on-3 basketball were held. Finally, in the month of May, our Institute took part in a 5-a-side football and volleyball quadrangular promoted by the Piaggia Institute. All our students distinguished themselves in the various events, obtaining excellent results.”
“As a School Director – concludes Professor Vanda Zurrida – I therefore intend to congratulate all those who participated in the various sporting initiatives and reiterate once again that these activities contribute to the overall training of the person to better address the problems existing in the world outside the school ”.
