Great anticipation in Cremona for the arrival of the fifth stage of the Giro d’Italia Next Gen, which will be held on Thursday 13 June 2024. The race, which started from Bergamo, will see the young cyclists compete for the final victory in Viale Po, at the height of Tognazzi park, in the position where the arrival of the Porto Circuit is normally located.
For the event, organized by RCS Sport SpA, important changes will be implemented to the road system from 2pm to 5pm. During the passage of the Giro d’Italia Under 23, transit will be prohibited along the race route, which includes via Milano da Spinadesco to via Costone di Sotto, via Costone di Sotto, via Eridano, largo Moreni and viale Po.
Cycling enthusiasts and citizens are invited to organize their own travel and for this reason alternative routes have been set up to facilitate mobility:
– from Cavatigozzi, direction Casanova del Morbasco or Spinadesco
– ring road, direction A21 or via Castelleone
– from Castelvetro Piacentino, direction A21
The Local Police will inform the companies and individuals most affected by the traffic block, and further updates will be disseminated via neighborhood groups.
