A “Social Point” desk for immigrants and their families has been active for a few days at the headquarters of the Un Raggio di Sole Association, located in Via Spasari 25, in the historic center of the city of Catanzaro.
The project, “Emergency and Solidarity”, with the support of the Banca Bper Charity Fund, to which we thank, is aimed at offering support to immigrants and natives, including homeless people, who live in the social fabric of the city of Catanzaro and who highlight personal problems of social hardship, communication difficulties with institutions, uprooting of the family environment of origin with serious difficulty in mending contacts. The Social Pointe Center is first of all a place of sharing and aggregation, where immigrants can connect online directly with their family members from their country of origin.
The following services are offered to immigrants, always completely free of charge: Request/renewal/update, residence permit, family reunification, Italian citizenship, work authorization (flow decree).
Furthermore, through an agreement with a Patronato located in the Association’s headquarters, Caf and Patronato services are offered. Finally, the availability of a social/psychological/pedagogical and mediation, as well as legal, team, coordinated by the mediator Maria Parisi and the volunteers of the Association’s Civil Service.
The office is open every day from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 13:00, and from 16:00 to 19:00 in the afternoon hours of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
