ROVIGO – In Rovigo, and in the municipalities voting in Polesine (32 in total), the counting of ballots after the consultations on 8 and 9 June began promptly at 2pm on Monday 10th.
Six mayors have already been elected, having reached a quorum on Sunday. TO Gaiba (READ ARTICLE) Nicola Zanca confirmedin Loreo (READ ARTICLE) Moreno Gasparini, in San Bellino (READ ARTICLE) Aldo D’Achille, to Ceneselli (READ ARTICLE) Angela Gazzi. TO Frassinelle Polesine (READ ARTICLE) Marco Rossi is the new mayor, a Pincara Giustiliano Bellini (READ ARTICLE).

In Rovigo I immediately moved forward Valeria Citizen in the seats examined. The mayoral candidate is supported by Azione con Calenda, Lega Liga Veneta Rovigo, Giorgia Meloni for Cittadin Sindaco – Fratelli d’Italia, Valeria Cittadin mayor, Forza Italia – Cittadin Sindaco. Valeria Cittadin is driven by the extraordinary result obtained by Fratelli d’Italia at the European Championships with a sensational 40% (READ ARTICLE).
The outgoing mayor Edoardo Gaffeo (Civic List for Rovigo – Edoardo Gaffeo, Movimento 5 Stelle 2050, Citizens’ Forum with Gaffeo), got off to a good start straight away in the counting, gathering numerous consensus, and effectively a two-horse race for the moment.
The other candidates are Palmiro Tosini (Pd and inclusive democratic civic list Tosini mayor), Federico Frigato (Rovigo Si Ama – Federico Frigato), Ezio Conchi (Mayor Conchi Cambia Rovigo), ed Antonio Rossini (We for Rovigo – Rossini Mayor Ci Piace!, Alliance of Moderates – Rossini Mayor).
The count will be long, especially for list preferences.
