Bad weather in Friuli, dozens of interventions due to flooding and trees fallen on the roads

Dozens of non-stop interventions by the firefighters of Udine, together with the volunteers of San Daniele and Codroipo, from 7am on Monday 10 June due to the bad weather that hit Friuli late on Sunday evening.

Many were the result of both the fall of trees on the road, between the provincial road 49 and via Monte Mangart, in Pagnacco, the provincial road 17 in Povoletto, the provincial road 98 in Campoformido, in via Malemaseria in Tarcento, and of unsafe trees and branches, the provincial road 38 in Taipana, via Sammardenchia in Tarcento, via Colloredo and via Tolmezzo in Tavagnacco.

There were equally numerous requests for help due to flooding, especially in San Daniele: high water in thirty garages, in via Fagagna, in a garage in via Sopracastello and on the provincial road 84, as well as in a basement in Rive D’Arcano, a hamlet of Lower Rodeano, in the home of an elderly person, in Coseano, in via San Biagio, and on the regional road 463, where a car broke down.

The firefighters were also called to the case of a dangerous Telecom pole in Lestizza and a piece of wall that fell on provincial road 49, in Buia.

In Pozzuolo a tree ended up on a car, inside private property, in via Lignano Sabbiadoro. Significant damage to the vehicle.

As for Udine, the interventions involved leaking trees in via Dormish and via della Roggia and a frame that had detached from a property in via Caltanissetta.
