Special 2024 municipal/administrative elections in Sicily: in direct the results of the counting, the links to follow the updates province by province, the turnout data and the names of the elected mayors.
They went to the vote 37 Municipalities, including a provincial capital (Caltanissetta). At the same time, on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June, voters throughout Sicily also voted for the renewal of theEuropean Parliament.
Sicily 2024 municipal elections, counting and live results
Those entitled to vote Saturday 8 June (3-11pm) e Sunday 9 June (7-23). The start of the counting, however, is not scheduled for the night between Sunday and Monday but from the afternoon of Monday 10 June. Here are the live updates. 2pm: Official start of counting for the 2024 administrative / municipal elections in Sicily.
1pm: Brothers of Italy first party in Sicily in the European elections. Party for party representatives and for Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
EXIT POLL Caltanissetta: based on the first polls on the elections concluded in Caltanissetta, Walter Tesauro, candidate of the centre-right, would be ahead (37-41% of the votes). Followed by Annalisa Petitto (30-34%), from the centre-left; Roberto Gambino (M5S, 21-25% of the votes) and Angelo Failla (3-5%). We therefore risk seeing a head-to-head between Tesauro and Petitto. A possible runoff will be held on Sunday 23 June 2024 from 7am to 11pm and on Monday 24 June 2024 from 7am to 3pm.
