To pay homage to the 50th world summit, Enzo Iannacone, Knight of ice cream, has created, in his taste laboratory in Grottaglie (TA), a delicacy dedicated to the great Heads of State who will meet in Borgo Egnazia
Grottaglie (Ta) – Everything is ready in Puglia to welcome the great Heads of State and the delegations who will participate in the G7. The event will also see the participation of the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission representing the European Union. The summit will be chaired by Giorgia MeloniPresident of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic and will see the participation of Pope francesco.
To pay homage to this great event that will embrace the whole of PugliaEnzo IannaconeKnight of ice cream, has created, in his taste laboratory in Grottaglie (TA), a delicacy dedicated to the great Heads of State who will meet in Borgo Egnazia: The G7 flavored ice cream in Puglia.
“This is a tribute to the great heads of state and the delegations that will arrive in our region. An ice cream made up of seven scoops: one for each forum member country. I wanted to experiment with local raw materials and the great Apulian confectionery tradition to offer seven authentic bon bons that embrace the whole of Puglia, ready to satisfy the most demanding palates”.
This is what Iannacone declares, master ice cream maker fresh from the reconfirmation for 2024 of the coveted Due Coni Gambero Rosso Eccellenze Gelaterie d’Italia.
“Ceglie Messapica Biscuit, Bisceglie Sospiro, Manduria Colombino, Toritto Almond, Salentina Cupeta, Martina Franca Drunk Caciocavallo, Turi Ferrovia Cherry. These are the seven flavors that make up the Gelato at the G7 in Puglia. Seven balls delicately placed on a beautiful cup forged by the skilled hands of art masters in the Ceramics District of Grottaglie. An ice cream that excites with every taste.”

The great Heads of State will concentrate in the Brindisi area, but the rumors of the last few hours speak of visits and walks in the Apulian villages by companions and delegations.
“For the whole week (and only this week) it will be possible to taste the Gelato at the G7. Anyone who wants will be able to experience what we define as: “an emotional journey through the flavors of our Puglia”. And if any Head of State passes through these parts… well… we will be ready to serve him”.
Iannacone comments pleased and hopeful.
