NEWS UPDATING

The Pescara municipal counting begins at 2pm. Reading Antonio Noto’s exit polls for Porta a Porta, and also the definitive results on the city of the European elections, which give the three centre-right parties close to 50%, every single vote could be decisive to decree the re-election of Carlo Masci to first round or the need for a run-off in two weeks.

The exit polls, by Noto Sondaggi per Porta a Porta, on Pescara give Masci between 47.5 and 51.5%. Costantini follows between 34 and 38 percent. Pettinari is estimated at between 9 and 11% while Fusilli stands at between 3.5 and 5.5%. In Pescara, 61.88% of eligible voters voted compared to 63.64 in the previous administrative elections.

THE EUROPEANS IN PESCARA – The contemporary vote in the European elections is definitive (and indicative) for the city. For the centre-right Fratelli D’Italia it stood at 30.1%, Forza Italia at 12% and the League at 6.6%. In Costantini’s centre-left, the Pd has 22%, the M5S at 10.73%, AVS at 6.62%. Pace Terra e Dignità obtained 4.85% and Action 2.33%. Gianluca Fusilli’s United States of Europe obtained 3.75% at the European elections. The other lists are below 2%. There were 63,640 voters in the European elections, around 200 fewer than in the municipal elections.
