At 11pm the turnout for the European and local elections in Lombardy was well over 50%. In the three capitals where voting for the mayor was held, the percentages were higher than in the rest of Italy throughout the day. In the first exit poll for the municipal elections in Bergamo Elena Carnevali (centre-left) is in the lead with a range between 53% and 57%. The centre-right candidate Andrea Pezzotta follows between 39% and 43%. These are the data from the Opinio Italia Consortium for Rai. Vittorio Apicella, of the 5 Star Movement, is between 3% and 5%. For Cremona and Pavia there were no exit polls.
The count for the municipal elections will still take place on Monday at 3pm

Among the politicians who voted today in Milan Umberto Bossi, in the polling station set up in the school in via Fabriano in Milan, near via Bellerio, where he lives, accompanied by his son Renzo. Only yesterday the former secretary of the Lombard League Paolo Grimoldi reported that the founder of the Northern League had told him that he would vote for Marco Reguzzoni, former group leader in the Chamber of the League now on the Forza Italia list.

In the last five weeks, the Municipality of Milan has issued a total of 44,859 voter cards, only 10,616 yesterday, Saturday 8th.
