TURN OUT – At 12 noon on Sunday 9 June 2024, 38,008 voters had voted in the 204 electoral sections of the Municipality of Parma, equal to 25.92%.

THE MUNICIPALITIES – Fifty-eight mayoral candidates and sixty-three lists. For the administrative elections on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June, voting will take place in 27 municipalities in the Parma area. A little less than a month before the electoral round, on Saturday 11 May, the lists closed. This outlines the definitive voting map in our province.

Only one municipality, Fidenza, has over 15 thousand inhabitants, all the other 26 municipalities are below the threshold. 27 new first citizens and 326 city councilors will be elected. In three cases – Albareto, Terenzo and Valmozzola – there is only one candidate for the mayor’s seat. For them the most important data to look at will therefore be that of voter turnout.

The most important challenge will be in Fidenza: Malvisi, Cabassa and Pollastri will compete for the position of mayor but if none of them has an absolute majority, a run-off will be held after two weeks.

The polling stations will be open on Saturday 8th (from 2pm to 10pm) and Sunday 9th June (from 7am to 11pm), coinciding with the European elections, as decided by the government with the Elections Bill. Any runoffs will take place on 23 and 24 June 2024
