Fattoria Le Pupille RosaMati 2023 Toscana Rosato IGT

Elisabetta Geppetti was just twenty years old when, during one of the many family harvests, she realized that her future would remain linked to the world of wine and her land. Thus, from a very young age, she matured that vision germinated from a profound love for the Maremma and its precious fruits and which, fueled by the foresight and determination of this great entrepreneur, materialized in the success story of Fattoria Le Pupille.
The company, spread over 85 hectares in the most suitable areas of the Maremma, is today among the most prestigious companies in the region. Elisabetta, supported by her children Clara and Ettore, continues to create extraordinary expressions of this indomitable territory, bringing its values, aromas and intensity around the world through a collection of excellent wines. You start with Saffredi, the Bordeaux symbol of the farm which inaugurated the oenological success of the Maremma and continue with the Sangiovese cru Poggio Valente and with Poggio Argentato, a white cuvée; in addition to Piemme, 100% Petit Manseng, and the iconic Morellino di Scansano which has always best represented, even in quantitative terms, the production of the estate, the selection is completed with the lively and refined rosé based on pure Syrah.
The new vintage of the rosé signed Fattoria Le Pupille, the RosaMati 2023, becomes part of the Maremma DOC denomination. A tribute to the eclectic personality of Syrah, it comes from vineyards that grow at around 150 meters near Magliano. After harvesting, the grapes undergo a soft pressing and then rest briefly on the skins before a quick passage into tonneaux followed by maturation in steel for 6 months.
It has an enchanting antique pink which magically portends aromas in which a light floral is delicately intertwined with citrus fruits and red fruits. The sip is simple and fresh.
