There were 10,713 voters, equal to 23.8% of the 45,004 eligible voters, who went to the polls for the local elections at 12pm. For the European elections, the turnout – in the 43 municipalities of the Agrigento area – stopped at 16.25%
Administrative
The highest turnout, 30.64%, was recorded in Campobello di Licata. The lowest turnout of the Municipalities called to vote for the administrative elections was recorded in Santa Elisabetta: 18.74%. Of the 4,750 people entitled to vote, 890 went.

In the capital city, 15.47% of those entitled to vote voted for the European elections. The highest turnout in the province was that of Campobello di Licata, a reality also called the administrative offices that were the driving force: almost 40 percent (39.96%) of voters went to the polls. The lowest turnout was recorded, however, in Sant’Angelo Muxaro with 9.11%.
