+12% in Campania according to the analysis of Facile.it and Mutui.it
CASERTA. Positive signals from the world of mortgages for home purchases: according to the analysis of Facile.it and Mutui.it, in the first four months of the year, the average amount requested for a mortgage in the province of Caserta was equal to 119,329 EUR.
Extending the analysis to all of Campania, it emerges that, in the period analysed, the request for financing increased by 12% compared to the same period in 2023. The average amount requested also increased again, reaching 130,881 euros (+1.6 %) and the average value of properties subject to mortgage (200,887 euros, +1%).
Looking at the request data at provincial level, it emerges that the area where the highest average amount was recorded is that of Naples (138,286 euros), followed by Salerno (126,802 euros), Caserta (119,329 euros) and Avellino (110,274 euros). ). Benevento closes the ranking (105,677 euros).
Subrogation requests are also growing, driven by the favorable conditions offered by banks for fixed rates: between January and April 2024 this type of requests represented 20.7% of the Campania total, up by 7 percentage points compared to the same period of ‘last year.

Campania families received financing for the purchase of a home for 560.4 million euros, which places the region in seventh place for the total disbursed in Italy, with an incidence of 5.33%; compared to the same quarter of the previous year, in the region there was a change in disbursements of -31.4%, for a value of -256.9 million euros.
If we observe the trend of disbursements in the first part of the year and then analyze the volumes of the first half of 2023, the region shows a negative variation of -29.6%, for a value of -472.5 million euros . Therefore, 1,123.0 million euros were disbursed in these first six months, volumes that represent 5.39% of the national total.
