A show of strength from ACF Arezzo Under 17 who beat Bari 4-0 in the return match of the national quarter-finals (the first leg ended 2-0 for the Amaranths) and achieved a prestigious and historic pass to the Final Four in Senigallia scheduled for June 28th to 30th. Game never in question and ACF Arezzo took the lead after just 3′ with a free kick from the edge of the box taken perfectly by Rossi. In the 10th minute Arezzo almost doubled their lead with Biani who narrowly missed the target with a diagonal shot. In the 11th minute Rosso, face to face with Anagni, sees his shot blocked by the goalkeeper from Bari. A minute later the Rosso – Rossi combination with the latter going to shoot but Anagni still responds. Bari only showed up in the 31st minute with a long-range shot from Otranto, no problem for Cardarelli. In the 35th minute, a good opportunity for Arezzo: a deep ball for Rosso who plays the ball and widens for the insertion of Rossi, a first-time left foot rejected again by Anagni, certainly among the best among the red and whites. At the end of the first half, in the 44th minute, Arezzo’s deserved second goal arrived. Nice run by Baccaro on the left, cross to the centre, deflection by Rosso and on the rebound from the defense Rossi takes his time with his head and beats Anagni. The pace was decidedly slower in the second half, stingy with real scoring opportunities. In the 65th minute Taddei tries from distance, but doesn’t worry Anagni. In the 76th minute a cross from the left by Baccaro, Galeotti heads to the far post but misses the target. In the 79th minute, a nice start from Taddei on the left, he overtakes an opponent, enters the area and passes the ball back to Pierini who is first blocked by Anagni but makes no mistake on the rebound and makes it 3-0. In the 90th minute Galeotti is knocked down in the area and the referee points to the spot: Moretti appears from eleven meters out and displaces Anagni and closes the match at 4-0.
