These are the first, immediate comments from Francesco Manca and Paolo Cavalcoli, respectively president and director of Confagricoltura Ferrarafollowing the election of Danilo Tamisari at the top of the fruit section of Confagricoltura Emilia Romagna.

Tamisari, co-owner together with his brother Stefano of an agricultural company based in Gaibana, has long been at the forefront on the trade union side, and since November 2022 he has held the position of president of the Fruit growing section of Confagricoltura Ferrara. “We must always look to the future – says Danilo Tamisari – planning investments that allow us to be competitive on the market, even if the numerous terrible adversities that the sector has had to face in the last five years have strongly weakened a sector that has always been fundamental for the Emilia Romagna region ”.
Strengthened by the experience gained and taking into account the needs of each type of fruit growing present in the regional territory, one of the main themes on which Tamisari will focus will be that of protection of the entrepreneur’s profitability in relation to production costs in the relationship with the agri-food chain.
