The filming of the “I Viaggi del Cuore” troupe concluded Mediaset cultural and religious in-depth program which will dedicate an episode to the Camino di San Francesco di Paola. Together with Don Davide Banzato, the team of the Cammino di San Francesco traveled the “Via del Giovane”: they therefore started from San Marco Argentano (CS) to cross the splendid beech woods of the Coastal Chain and arrive at the Sanctuary of Paola .
In recent days, then, other shots have involved the Sanctuary and the city of Paola for a rich episode that will lead us to discover St. Francis and the bond with his people. The appointment is for Sunday 30 June on Channel 5 at 8.50am.
The Camino is a unique spiritual and naturalistic experience because it passes through the places that marked the life of the Saint and puts travelers in contact with faith and the uncontaminated beauty of the landscape. They exist four itineraries in the footsteps of the Patron Saint of Calabria: the Way of the Youth, the Way of the Hermit, the Way of the Monasteries, the Way to France and everyone touches the places that were the setting for their existence. Those who have experienced it tell of shared emotions, new encounters and, in the end, great nostalgia. On the Camino website there is a space dedicated to the “diary” where each participant can write their adventure: leafing through these pages really makes you want to prepare your trekking shoes and backpack and set off.
