Bad weather in Northern Italy: rain and hailstorms from Emilia to Lombardy (including Milan)
There Civil protection has issued for the day of Sunday 9 June 2024 a new yellow weather warning bulletin for risk of rain and thunderstorms in various regions of Northern Italy. The passage of a new disturbance is being felt, particularly in the northern regions affected by heavy rains and also triggers the risk of storms and hailstorms. Here are all the regions and areas at risk of bad weather:
- Emilia Romagna: Central Emilian mountains, Reggio Emilia plain, Modena plain, Ferrara coast, Low Piacenza-Parma hill, Piacenza-Parma mountain, High Piacenza-Parma hill, Reggio Po plain, Central Emilian hill, Bolognese plain, Bolognese mountain, Bolognese hill, Plain Piacenza-Parma, Ferrara plain;
- Lombardy: Lower central-western plain, Upper eastern plain, Central plain, Valchiavenna, Middle-lower Valtellina, Varesine lakes and pre-Alps, Valcamonica, Eastern lakes and pre-Alps, Pavia Apennines, Lario and western pre-Alps, Bergamo Orobie, Lower eastern plain, Lower plain central-eastern, lower western plain, Milan Hydraulic Hub;

Weather alert for critical situations in Northern Italy on 9 June: here are the areas affected
Not only that, the Department of Civil Protection has issued one yellow weather alert status due to hydraulic risk once again in the region Veneto. For days, the Serenissima region has been at risk of floods and inundations the yellow alert issued for Sunday 9 June 2024 in the areas of: Basso Brenta-Bacchiglione and Fratta Gorzone, Adige-Garda and Lessini mountains, Po, Fissero-Tartaro-Canalbianco and Basso Adige.
