The area affected by the event will cover an external surface of 10,000 square meters and two enormous stages, one external with a roof and one internal air-conditioned. Not only that, the new artistic director, Diego Longobardi, has ensured new and engaging formats: “The legendary Pride Village Virgo under my direction this year will present not only a new scenographic structure of the two stages (the “Pink Arena” and the Pride World”), a rich program full of new features, including international ones, to be able to offer the entire public always different evenings, spectacular parties, talks, book presentations, performances, shows and live music. A billboard full of exclusive content dedicated to all age groups. It will be a summer full of fun and good time spent together.”

The inauguration will boast the presence of Riches and Poorsin addition to that of Alpha, and then continued in the following months with other prominent personalities in the entertainment scene. From Big Mama to Sabina Guzzanti; from Fabio Canino at the shows of Drama Milanuntil Lorenzo Balducci And Simone Guidarelli; from Anna Tatangelo to Barbara Tucker The Kolorspassing through Paola and Chiara, Valeria Marini, the Jalisse and many more. All happily engaged in supporting and promoting civil rights.

Furthermore, from 17 to 20 July, the unexpected will come to life Queer plus fest: four days of madness, music and entertainment dedicated to Queer culture and marked by the participation of artists, DJs and performers from all over Europe. Precisely on this occasion, Wednesday 17 July, Vladimir Luxuria will have the opportunity to perform on his show God Save The Queerfollowed, on Friday 19 July, by Show Drama Milanthe largest and most eccentric Queer cabaret in Italy.

Nor will there be any shortage of specific courses dedicated to inclusive language, especially for those who will have to work on the organization of the Festival. “Welcome and non-discrimination also pass through the use of appropriate behavior and words”, explains Giusva Iannitelli, Communications Manager of Pride Village Virgo and Station Manager of Virgo Radio, “we must pay maximum attention to the words we use, which, when said incorrectly or lightly, they can hurt just as much as actions.”

This is how, once again, Padua proves to be a capable hub of culture, color and entertainment in this summer of 2024.
