The exhibition “The journey and other worlds” inaugurated

ROVIGO – Saturday 8 June at the Decorative Arts Cultural Club in Piazzetta Annonaria in Rovigo was the Competition Exhibition entitled “The journey and other worlds – On the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo’s death” was inaugurated. The President of the Decorative Arts Club Franco Montanari presented the initiative, expressing satisfaction with the number of participants, 29, including 21 painters with 37 paintings, 7 photographers with 13 works and a sculptor who used wire. He has made an appointment for everyone for the new edition of Artè Rovigo, which will take place next Sunday 16 June from morning until evening at the Marconi Gardens at the Due Torri in Rovigo.

He also anticipated the next initiative for October Rodigino which will involve photographers and painters with a project entitled “Journey to Polesine” to discover the delights of Polesine, with the aim of enhancing and promoting the environmental, architectural and monumental beauties and specificities of the province of Rovigo.

The awards ceremony for the exhibition, which has the patronage of the Municipality of Rovigo, will take place on Sunday 30 June at 5.30 pm again in Piazzetta Annonaria and the exhibition will remain open until Sunday 30 June, with free entry, with opening hours on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10.00 – 12.00 / 17.00 – 19.00.
