Turin, pro-Palestine activists deface the Intesa Sanpaolo headquarters

The Turin Porta Nuova railway station was occupied by some pro-Palestine demonstrators. The activists arrived at the station around 6pm and occupied the platforms until shortly after 7pm. Train movement was interrupted. Trains were delayed by up to 80 minutes and in some cases were cancelled. The protesters will most likely have to answer for interruption of public service.

Intesa Sanpaolo branch defaced

The branch of the Intesa Sanpaolo bank in Via San Francesco in Turin was defaced by pro-Palestine demonstrators who were marching through the city centre. The activists wrote ‘Complicit Understanding’ with pink paint on the windows and walls of the bank. The procession started just before 4pm from Palazzo Nuovo, which still remains occupied, and moved towards Porta Palazzo and then passed through Piazza Palazzo di Città and Via San Francesco. The expected arrival is at the Physics faculty near Valentino Park. The ‘Turin for Gaza’ coordination organized the procession.

An Eni gas station dealer daubed

The demonstrators did not stop at the Intesa Sanpaolo branch because they continued their journey up Corso Matteotti where they daubed an Eni petrol station with graffiti against the Rector, Stefano Geuna, and against Eni itself.
