Monteverdi and Verdi, the Baroque of Orfeo and the Risorgimento closed-mouth chorus of Nabucco. Three centuries between the first and second centuries, amidst multiple musical styles. This is the context of the evening of great music organized byArchconfraternity of Santa Croce as part of the musical event Organalia, which gives new life to the most precious and important organs of Piedmontese churches. To guide listeners through the centuries ranging from the Counter-Reformation to the Five Days, prof. Marco Ruggeri, professor of organ and liturgical music at the Brescia conservatory, at the keyboard of the precious Felice Bossi organ from 1854 kept in the church of Santa Croce and recently the subject of an important restoration project, strongly desired by the president emeritus of the Archconfraternity, the late and unforgotten Piero Lanza. The appointment with Organalia and the prof. Ruggeri is for Sunday 9 June, at 9pm in the church of Santa Croce in Moncalieri.
