CALTANISSETTA – Yesterday morning in the seat of the Town Hall of Caltanissetta the memorandum of understanding for the prevention and the fight against cybercrimes to protect the information systems between the State Police, with the Cyber ​​Security Operations Center – Postal and Communications Police of Western Sicily, and the Municipality of Caltanissetta.

The purpose of the memorandum of understanding

The agreement aims to share And to analyze information able to prevent and counter attacks or damage to IT infrastructures of the Municipality of Caltanissetta.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Director of the Cyber ​​Security Operations Center – Postal and Communications Police of Western Sicily in Palermo Carmine Mosca and by the Director of the Technological Innovation and IT Security Service of the Municipality of Caltanissetta Diego Peruga.

This aims to create a synergy between the two Administrations which will allow mutual and timely reporting. The aim is to face emergency situations that arise from threats, vulnerability or accidents capable of damaging the regularity of telecommunications and generating an interruption of public utility services or the theft of sensitive data.
