THE EAGLE. He snatches the necklace from a 13 year old boy. The robbery was carried out the other day at the Collemaggio terminal. The boy’s mother reported the incident with a post published on social media. The 13-year-old, according to the woman’s story, was approached by another boy who ordered him to hand over the gold chain he had around his neck. When he refused, he tightened his hands around his neck and then forcefully ripped off the chain. «The thing that leaves me speechless», vents the 13-year-old’s mother, «is that, according to my son, the boy remained there, calm and undisturbed. Necklace aside, doing this to a kid is truly inhumane.”
At the moment no complaint has been filed with the police who, however, became aware of the fact. The appeal to report these incidents to the police comes from Valeria Bacchante, president of the “Mothers for L’Aquila” association. «We would like to tell citizens to contact the police because it is also on the basis of statistics that controls aimed at preventing and repressing cases of petty crime are strengthened. The appeal, therefore, is not to be afraid and to file a complaint”, adds Baccante, “only in this way can we hope for a positive change in the situation and discourage the repetition of violent actions against our children”.
