“The outcry caused by an investigation on a national television network on healthcare in Ragusa unequivocally confirms the very serious critical issues of our ASP which we have highlighted for over 6 months. Other critical issues, much more serious, have not yet been made public. The Article 32 Civic Committee will shortly communicate to the press and the institutions intimidating attitudes and the inaccessibility of some essential health services. For over six months, declares Dr Gugliotta, president of the Article 32 Civic Committee, we have been denouncing the inequalities between those who can resort to private healthcare and those who are forced to give up treatment. The ASP offices, unlike in recent weeks, do not process requests for access to the services required by law, only because the forms, although identical to the scheme prepared by the company, bear the logo of our association.
