Arezzo – On the occasion of 25 years of management of the integrated water service, which began on June 1st 1999, Nuove Acque promotes a day dedicated to the history of the city and its water system. For the day of June 8th, with the collaboration of the Guido D’Arezzo Foundation, Nuove Acque organized free and guided visits to the Medici Fortress of Arezzo. It will be possible to admire the remains of the city from the Roman and medieval era, discover the functioning of the capital’s water system and appreciate the investments made by Nuove Acque in these first 25 years of management. The event is free and open to all citizens and each visit lasts approximately 45 minutes. Arezzo – At 9.00 pm the Pieve di Santa Maria in Corso Italia will host an unmissable musical event: four choirs accompanied by organ and percussion will perform the ‘Eesti Missa’ (Estonian Mass) by the composer Urmas Sisask. A choral team of over one hundred voices will perform on stage, composed of the Francesco Coradini Polyphonic Group of Arezzo, the Cantori di Perugia, the Ponte Valleceppi Polyphonic Choir directed by Vladimiro Vagnetti, and the Laeti Cantores Choir of Rome directed by Angelo Gubbini. Oreste Calabria will perform on the organ, while on percussion Tommaso Sagrazzini and Angelo Gubbini himself. The direction of the event will be entrusted to Vladimiro Vagnetti. Entrance is free, to allow everyone the opportunity to participate in this special evening.

Arezzo – At 5pm, the church of San Severo in San Severo, Arezzo, hosts “Stories and songs”, a new appointment in the “Summer at Alpe di Poti” event promoted by La Fattoria in Cammino Ets. The protagonists of the afternoon will be the cultural journalist Marco Botti and the vocal ensemble VisCantus directed by Silvia Vajente, accompanied for the occasion by Niccolò Nardoianni on the piano, with whom the participants will retrace the history of the place located along the panoramic road of Poti.
