Tuscany 2024: the professional tricolor presented

Florence, 7 June 2024 – The Sala d’Arme in Palazzo Vecchio inaugurated the Italian professional cycling championship scheduled for the race in honor of Alfredo Martini. It will take place on Sunday 23 June, organized by UC Larcianese with departure around midday from Piazzale Michelangelo and arrival in via Garibaldi in Sesto Fiorentino after 228 km. The “Per Semper Alfredo” race will reach Valdisieve and Mugello with a circuit to be repeated only once in the Scarperia area, before tackling Le Croci, then the descent to Calenzano and the challenging climb of Via di Baroncoli (la Collina) which will be followed by a technical and treacherous descent before reaching Sesto. Once in the finish area, a 16km circuit will be covered 4 times, always including the Collina climb. During the ceremony the “Due Giorni Juniores” was also presented on the track (17-18 June) in the Cascine park in Florence with 8 Italian titles up for grabs for the fast specialities. A program of Italian events, which confirms Tuscany at the top in the organizational field.
