The Municipality of Ferrara approaches citizens through a smartphone application. This is Municipium, the Maggioli Group’s app, the most complete and the most awarded, already successfully active in more than a thousand Italian institutions.

Municipium is a suitable tool for an increasingly digital and citizen-friendly administration, which places the Municipality of Ferrara just a click away and allows for communication simple and immediate, two-way, allowing the Municipality to inform its citizens and, for citizens, to interact with its administration, with a view to ever greater development of the digitalization of municipal services.

Thanks to the convenient function of Reportscitizens can contact the Municipality directly by sending geolocalized reports and accompanied by photos, for example of a ruined road sign or a pothole in the asphalt, to improve your neighborhood or area of ​​residence.

The application can be downloaded for free from online stores and is available for all iOS and Android mobile devices; accessing it is very easy, in fact, after downloading it, simply search for “Ferrara” among the municipalities present on the network.

To insert a report, simply touch the dedicated button and click on the “+” symbol located at the bottom right, authorize access to the position and select one of the areas of interest. Following this procedure opens a screen in which to enter the text of the report – as detailed and precise as possible – together with your personal data and the address of the report. Municipium is not a tool for managing emergencies; for the management of emergencies you must always refer to the police.

The Municipality of Ferrara therefore becomes part of the Municipium community: thanks to the convenience multi-municipal system in fact, citizens are offered the opportunity to access information, news and points of interest also from all the other Municipalities that have already activated the app.
