The rescues
The firefighters, the carabinieri and the SUEM 118 health workers arrived at the site of the tragedy. The traffic literally went haywire and those who were returning from the sea had to arm themselves with patience. Traffic returned to traffic only in the middle of the night when the operators finished their individual activities. The firefighters also inspected the Novissimo canal for a long time as there was doubt that someone had ended up in the canal in the collision. Traffic has returned to flow this morning. Last night was yet another accident on that stretch of road. It will be essential to find corrective measures quickly to ensure that this trail of blood is stopped.
