Music in Gorla Maggiore
The traditional concert of the Santa Cecilia Musical Corps of Gorla Maggiore returns on Saturday 8 June (9pm, Piazza Martiri della Libertà). Always well attended, the musical event directed by maestro Massimo Oldani, presents a repertoire sure to resonate with the public, just to name a few songs: “The rose”, “How to train your dragon”, “Lord of the dance”, “Flashing winds”, “The phantom of the opera”, “Coldplay in symphony” , “Sa muiìsica”. In case of bad weather, the event will take place at Palagorla in via Volta. Organizes the culture department directed by Cinzia Montini.
Gospel in Castellanza
It is called VENTI… E PIU’ and it is the concert of the GOSPEL FOR JOY choir organized, with the patronage of the City of Castellanza, for Saturday 8 June at 9 pm in the Church of San Bernardo. The initiative, which is part of the “L’Estate in Città 2024” program of the Department of Culture of the City of Castellanza, will see performances by FABIO GALLAZZI (Director), GABRIELE TOIA (Piano), FABRIZIO FOGAGNOLO (Double bass), ETTORE ZANZOTTERA ( Percussion), Guest Star AHRES DI BENEDETTO. Presents DANILO LAMPERTI. Entrance to the concert is free and free.
Anniversary of Don Giulio Bernardoni
The pastoral council of the San Gregorio Magno Community in Olgiate Olona invites you to events linked to the twenty-fifth anniversary of the priestly ordination of Don Giulio Bernardoni. There will be a solemn mass on Sunday 9 June at 10.30 in the church of Ss. Stefano e Lorenzo. At 1pm lunch with parishioners, friends and relatives. At 9pm solemn Eucharistic procession with the Santa Cecilia Philharmonic of Sacconago. The evening before, Saturday 8 June at 6pm, in the church of San Giovanni Bosco, mass for the fifth anniversary of Don Giovanni Calastri and Don Fabio Pirola.

“I am a priest. A man, a priest, everyone’s friend” in Fagnano. A special weekend in Bergoro in memory of Don Mario Mascheroni. It starts on Saturday at 9pm with the lyric recital in the church of San Giovanni Battista. Sunday mass at 10.30am, visit to the Meda cemetery at 3.30pm. Organizes the parish of San Giovanni Battista with the ACLI of Bergoro.
Alberto Brambilla
The Bandera Foundation for Art presents the exhibition “Alberto Brambilla Time, oblivion and memory” curated by Cristina Moregola on Saturday 8 June at 6pm. Brambilla describes himself as “an artist so subtle as to appear almost non-existent”. In fact, his official profession has never been that of an artist, but of a scholar and bibliographer, with various explorations in the field of creative writing. He has worked in some Italian and foreign universities and is currently part of the Équipe Littérature et Culture Italiennes of the Sorbonne. He has numerous publications to his credit, dedicated to cultural issues between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and to some protagonists of Italian culture such as Pascoli, Carducci, De Amicis, Chiara and Sereni. However, his activity followed various paths, also linked to creative writing and the relationship between literature and artistic production.

Formula Drivers
The “2nd Formula Driver AiCS” automotive event will be held in the industrial area on Sunday 9 June, dedicated for the first time to Giancarlo Biasuzzi, mechanic, trainer and driver from Gallarate. The initiative is organized by the Junior Jolly Historic association, in collaboration with Racing Off Road and AICS – Italian Sports Culture Association and with the patronage and contribution of the municipal administration. The route will wind through via Massari Marzoli, via Marcello Candia and via Baden Powell. The finish line will be in via Stefano Ferrario. The day’s program includes car checks at 8:00 am, the start of the race at 9:30 am, the finals at 2:00 pm. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 5.00 pm.
Sports Festival in Fagnano
