On the evening of June 2, 2024, in Guidonia Montecelio, the Carabinieri of the Tivoli-Guidonia police station, assisted by colleagues from the “Sant’Ippolito” police station, arrested SM, a 52-year-old from Tivoli, for violating the ban on approaching his ex-partner and for resisting a public official.
The man had already been arrested on March 30, 2024 for having entered his ex-partner’s home against her will, attacking her and putting his hands around her neck in the presence of her minor children.
On that occasion, after the validation of the GIP of the Court of Tivoli, he was released with the application of the precautionary measure of the ban on approaching the victim, which however he had violated several times.
The arrest on June 2 occurred after the woman activated the antistalking device, signaling that the man was once again in the prohibited area.
The agents they tracked him down to his home where, in a clear state of psycho-physical alteration, he attempted to resist arrest.
SM was arrested in deferred flagrante delicto for persecutory acts and resistance to a public official and taken to prison.
