Road investments, over 1 million euros from the MIT for Campania: Torre Orsaia and Ogliastro Cilento for the province of Salerno

The decree of Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for the allocation of resources for the 2024 year of the “Road investment fund in small municipalities”. Of the twenty million foreseen by the provision, 1 million and 370 thousand euros (6.85% of the national total) was allocated to the small municipalities of the Campania region, eligible for financing which envisages, among other things, the launch of “urgent interventions to social and territorial cohesion, with particular reference to critical situations in some areas of Southern Italy”.

The resources assigned to the Municipalities with a population of up to 5 thousand inhabitants according to the ranking order and in compliance with the criteria and parameters of the decree, will subsidize various road safety and maintenance interventions on the arteries of the internal areas of Campania, from Sannio to to Cilento.

Ten municipalities in the Region were admitted to the financing, the maximum expenditure quota for each single administration is 205,500 euros. In detail, the municipalities to which the contribution from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport will be assigned are: Pontelatone, Fontegreca and Santa Maria la Fossa for the province of Caserta; Paolisi, Campolattaro and San Giorgio La Molara for the Beneventano area, Lauro in Irpinia and Salento, Torre Orsaia and Ogliastro Cilento for the province of Salerno.
