CROTONE Antonio Amodio (born in Greek’s tower on April 5, 1987) is the new one sporting director of FC Crotone: has signed with the company a two-year contract.
The new rossoblù sporting director arrives from Giugliano where in the last two championships he contributed to setting up a team that has always achieved the goal of play-offs. Previously you had held the role of director with the Sorrento And director of scouting with the Spal.
Together with dg Raffaele Vrenna will have to set up the Crotone edition 2024/2025. Not an easy task as the president himself declared Gianni Vrenna in a previous press conference: «The new Crotone will have to be a mix of young and older players».
Another element on which the dg-ds duo will have to operate regarding the next transfer market will be the confirmation or disinterest of those players owned by Crotone but on loan to other clubs. Attention will also be paid to the outgoing market with regards to some first-tier players in terms of technical level who are attractive to various third-series teams with ambitions of promotion and of the cadertier. Among these are the attackers Tumminello-Gomez (15 goals each) the midfielder Tributes (3 goals), the external defender Giron (1 goal).
Crotone is a popular place with a passionate following with a refined palate. Net of the last two Serie C championships, the Sharks have played sixteen Serie B championships and three Serie A championships, with six First Division championships in between, three of which they won. A team that over the years has always rewarded the player, coach and sporting director who were part of it.
