We are almost there. Alessandro Nesta is ready to become the new coach of Monza. In recent days, the Brianza club said goodbye to Raffaele Palladino after an excellent two-year period with the former striker on the bench, who in the meantime moved on to post-Italian Fiorentina.
Initially Adriano Galliani had entered into negotiations with Marco Baroni, with the coach who, however, then preferred the Lazio project that emerged after the break with Igor Tudor. From there the turn, strong and decisive, on Alessandro Nesta fresh from the season on the Reggiana bench. Everything is ready or almost ready for the signing, with the former defender who will sign a one-year contract with an option linked to salvation.
The president of Reggiana Carmelo Salernoin recent hours, had commented on the situation regarding the former defender as follows: “In Serie A there are still empty benches and he feels ready, if they call him he’ll go. Monza? It fits, but I also hear about Lazio even if I don’t think so. I saw Galliani a few days ago and he told me that he doesn’t want to put us in difficulty, but he makes his future his own.
