Sviluppumbria, leader of the Interreg Europe InnoCom project, participated in the workshop “Digital Transformation of public sector services“ organized by Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform (PLP) to Vilnius on 5-6 June 2024.
A communications representative and a colleague from the digital innovation unit spoke on behalf of the Umbria Region, associated partner of the project.
The workshop analyzed challenges and opportunities offered by new technologies and tools capable of introducing innovation into PA processes, both internally and towards citizens.
Participation in the workshop was an opportunity to delve deeper into the European context and acquire knowledge relating to new EU policies, the experimentation of digital solutions in Europe and the integration of AI.
Participants, from EU Member States and candidate countries, presented good practices by taking part in discussions and working groups.
The Umbria Region also participated in a matchmaking event organized by the PLP dedicated to the topic “Unlocking the potential of AI for public services.”
A European exchange with partners from Ireland, Poland, Lithuania and observers from Finland and Ukraine. The participants examined the situation of the digital master plan in Umbria, the problems posed in terms of skills and training and the opportunities and challenges for public administration in terms of safety and reliability of AI.
