Raise awareness among the new generations on issues related to correct separate waste collection, starting from schools. This is one of the cornerstones of the Nausicaa school project, aimed at training today’s young people, in order to build in them environmental sensitivity for the near future.
In recent days, the multiservices of the Municipality of Carrara, thanks to the collaboration with the teachers of the Montessori-Repetti high school in Marina di Carrara (Villa Ceci area), therefore took part in a project aimed at the correct disposal of waste, allowing the children to discover how many of them can be recovered and sent for material recycling.
The school has also planned a play for the children of the Giampaoli nursery school, staging the story taken from the book “Gatto Gino al Polo Sud”, invented by the students of a fourth class.
The representation was designed with the aim of stimulating the little ones towards topics such as pollution, recycling and respect for nature. The company, with the operator Ilaria Lorenzetti, invited the young students to follow good practices in protecting the environment every day, at home and at school.

In particular, involving children and young people means starting a dialogue with those who will be the citizens of tomorrow. Therefore, training the new generations is a very important step in creating an environmental culture, useful for combating degradation and some incorrect behaviors committed by adults.”

This is what we carry forward with determination, as demonstrated by the recent cleaning of the Bagno Marino beach, carried out thanks to the young people of the Youth Council and with the collaboration of Itis Galilei”.
