The recent visit of President Occhiuto to Lamezia Terme, together with the candidate for the European Elections Giusi Princi, the Regional Secretary Hon. Cannizzaro, Councilor Gallo and the organizational leadership of Forza Italia, represented a strong signal of security and good governance

Press release

The event recognized the city mayor, Paolo Mascaro, for the political will and concrete results obtained in administrative management.

The meeting, entitled “Un’alta Calabria”, took place at the Teatro Comunale Grandinetti, attracting massive participation. Forza Italia proposes itself for the new Europe with the authoritative and Calabrian voice of Giusi Princi, a figure of political value dedicated to the service of the Calabrians.

President Occhiuto underlined that there is no longer a Serie B Calabria.

Calabrian government policy has demonstrated that it can offer innovative solutions, to be promoted and replicated on a national scale. Calabria stands out nationally for good practices in fire control, such as the use of drones to monitor and manage fires, a model that will be replicated in Italy. 19 new technologically advanced 4×4 pick-ups were purchased for emergency management and fire extinguishing, to be allocated to civil protection associations. Furthermore, the purchase of 11 generators was made to deal with adverse phenomena.

Another important initiative is the Polluted Sea Observatory, which aims to monitor and improve the quality of marine waters. A regional portal has also been created that connects Calabrians, allowing dysfunctions in the healthcare sector to be reported. The presence of RAI in Calabria on the occasion of the last New Year marked a historic moment for the promotion of the region. Thanks to the efforts of the regional government, 3 billion were obtained for the state road 106 lot, contrasting with the only 1 billion allocated in the previous 20 years, allowing Anas to carry out the work.

Today waste in Calabria is disposed of in public landfills, reducing costs compared to the past when they were managed by private landfills or abroad.

Finally, Lamezia Terme airport will soon become a hub for maintenance and a pilot academy, following the Bergamo model. Forza Italia confirms itself as a guarantee of good governance, with listening to the territories, strong proposals, and a reformist and moderate European vision. The pro-European programme, moderate and inclusive, is at the service of Italy and the new Europe, following the guidelines of the Secretary Hon. Cannizzaro and the pragmatic policy of the Councilor for Agriculture Gianluca Gallo.

In view of the next elections, we make an appeal to all citizens: participating in the vote is a fundamental right and a civic duty. Your vote represents the voice of every single citizen and helps shape the future of our country and Europe.

Voting means choosing who can best represent your needs, who can guarantee a stable, innovative government that is close to the needs of the territory. We invite everyone to exercise this important right and to choose with awareness and responsibility. Every vote counts and can make a difference. Take part in the vote to build a better future for everyone together.
