The Oscar race has begun for young people who have chosen to build a future in agriculture. This is remembered by the young farmers of Coldiretti Giovani Impresa Cremona, who invite you to register for Oscar Green 2024 “Roots for the future”, the competition promoted by Coldiretti Giovani to reward agricultural businesses that create development and jobs to relaunch the economy of their territories. It will be possible to submit an application until 30 June 2024 by registering directly through the Coldiretti Giovani Impresa website, at https://giovanimpresa.coldiretti.it/oscar-green/il-concorso/

“Through the Oscar Green – states Piercarlo Ongini, provincial delegate of Giovani Impresa Coldiretti Cremona – we give space to stories representative of a business model that focuses on the value of young farmers, technological innovation and the protection of the territory”.

The 2024 edition of the award – explains Coldiretti Cremona – includes six categories: “Friendly Campaign” and “Guardians of Italy” reward multifunctionality and protection of the territory; “Digital and Sustainable Business” and “Let’s Grow Together” instead focus on projects that promote sustainable development through new technologies and companies that create synergistic networks with the various subjects of the agricultural supply chain, in particular with schools. The “The growing company” category rewards companies that stand out for their growth in terms of jobs and opportunities for the territory, while “It’s still Oscar Green” is aimed at young people who have registered in the previous editions of Oscar green and who have grown their business over the years.

To these categories – concludes Coldiretti – is added the special mention “Agri-Influencer”, aimed at all those companies that make use of new communication channels to promote their business and raise awareness of agriculture.
