Cagliari, an event for botany enthusiasts in Molentargius

On Friday 7 June from 09:00 to 12:30, the Molentargius Park will host “Plant Swap”, an event dedicated to botany and gardening enthusiasts of all ages. This initiative, sponsored by Municipality of Quartu and from the Molentargius Park, is organized by Daniela Laiflorist with a passion for the green world, e Maddalena Muru, university student in Environmental and Natural Sciences with a strong interest in botany and ornithology.
Plant Swap at Molentargius Park
The initiative aims to promote the cultivation of new botanical varieties and sustainable research into species not present in the area. Each participant will have the opportunity to display their plants and cuttings for free exchange, as long as they are labeled with the botanical name and free of fungal or parasitic pathologies. In addition to the possibility of exchanging plants, each participant will receive a small gift for plant care, offered by Agroflor. The event is completely free and open to all.
The rules
To ensure the success of the event, participants will have to follow some rules: Labeling with the botanical name of each plant or cutting is required. The plants must be free of fungal or parasitic diseases. The exchange of invasive alien plants is strictly prohibited. Each participant can exchange up to five plants or cuttings.
