Pre-sales for the second edition will be available from Thursday 6 June of the long-awaited project of the “Opera in the square of Italy”organized by de Carolis with the contribution of the Ministry, of the regionof the Municipality of Sassari and of Foundation of Sardinia.
After the triumph of the opera “Clowns” of last year, the organization proposes the next one July 12th at 9.30pm “Othello”, masterpiece by Giuseppe Verdi, which aims to transform the Sassari living room into an open-air theatre. To direct thede Carolis Orchestra it will also be in this edition Sergio Oliva which, after the great success of the public and critics with “Pagliacci”, returns to the podium of the eagerly awaited event in the square.
The direction and scenes of the new staging by de Carolis will be handled by Alberto Gazale, artistic director of the institution, highly appreciated in the 2023 edition for the direction of “Pagliacci” and the 20th century diptych. The ticket office of the municipal theater is open from Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and from 5pm to 8pm.
