The 10,800 seats available to the Venetian fans were pulverized within a few minutes but, and this is the most striking fact, the sector of the Curva Nord intended for the Azzurri supporters also saw the 1,200 tickets literally sold out. The final ‘fever’ in Carrara has truly risen to incredible levels. Even though it was a weekday, the Apuan athletes gave an unprecedented response. 484 had come down to Benevento, this time the number of supporters has more than doubled and Carrarese will have an all-yellow-blue segment of the stadium cheering for them. The Curva Nord has set up two coaches plus several minivans. Even the many aficionados not belonging to the organized supporters organized themselves with 9-seater minibuses. Naturally, there will also be many private cars following.
Even in the city the enthusiasm is uncontainable. The Carrarese flag is already on display in front of the door of Palazzo Binelli and on the official website of the CrC Foundation ‘Forza Carrarese’ stands out on the front page.
As regards the presale for the return match, it will presumably open tomorrow afternoon, after the Gos meeting has taken place in the morning. It will be a real race against time because it will be sold out within a few minutes. Many personalities will also be present at the Stadio dei Marmi on Sunday. The FIGC president Gabriele Gravina could also be there.
