MOLISE. The Molise Regional Council has approved the school calendar for the year 2024/2025 which will regulate the periods of teaching activities and closures for holidays and vacations.
Lessons will start on Thursday 12 September 2024, while the last day of school for most institutes will be Saturday 7 June 2025. For nursery schools only, the deadline is set for Saturday 28 June.
The Christmas holidays will last approximately two weeks, with the suspension of teaching activities from Monday 23 December 2024 to Saturday 4 January 2025 inclusive.
The other suspensions of lessons, in addition to national holidays, are scheduled as follows:
- Saturday 2 November 2024 (Departed Commemoration long weekend)
- Saturday 7 December 2024 (Immaculate Conception long weekend)
- From Monday 3 to Wednesday 5 March 2025 (Carnival holidays)
- From Thursday 17 to Tuesday 22 April 2025 (Easter holidays)
- Saturday 26 April 2025 (Liberation Day long weekend)
- Friday 2 and Saturday 3 May 2025 (Labor Day long weekend)
The calendar, the result of the usual consultation with the social partners, aims to reconcile the needs of families with those of the productive world, while ensuring the correct carrying out of the school year in the number of days required by current legislation.
