Sanremo. It was a very well attended and proactive closing meeting of the electoral campaign which saw the councilor candidates as protagonists last night Brothers of Italy, Davide Verrando and Ethel Moreno. Over 250 people filled the Crikkot bar in Corso Imperatrice, right below the Casino, inside and outside. The centre-right mayoral candidate present and expected Gianni Rolandoand the senator of the Brothers of Italy, Gianni Berrino.
“Ethel and Davide were among the most active councilor candidates in this intense electoral campaign – Rolando began – They toured the city with me and participated in at least thirty meetings. It is the great desire for participation that distinguishes us to bring about the change that the majority of Sanremo people ask of us. We have the desire and strength to relaunch our city thanks also to direct connections with the parties that govern at a national level”.
“Do not listen to the many fake news with which the opposing parties have attempted to influence the electoral campaign – declared Senator Berrino – The situation is however clear: the city has suffered a continuous decline in the last ten years, which is below the everyone’s eyes. We want to start again from 2003, from the Bottini administration, when Sanremo had grown greatly in everything and excelled in the province, in the region and in Italy”.
Need for change, attention to young people and associations, continuous listening to citizens and great willingness to share solutions to relaunch Sanremo: these are the watchwords expressed in their speeches by Davide Verrando and Ethel Moreno, united not only in this electoral challenge but also by a strong twenty-year friendship. The meeting was also attended by the regional councilor of Fratelli d’Italia, Veronica Russoas well as other members of the party demonstrating the great unity of purpose that can be felt around the two candidate councilors for the Municipality of Sanremo.
