The technical tests
Already on Monday evening, the over 300 arches along the over two kilometers that lead up to the basilica they turned on for the first technical tests: anyone who was in the area on Monday evening will certainly not have missed the opportunity to “peek” what all of Bologna will be able to appreciate on Wednesday 5th, this year the fruit of the artistic participation of Phillip Frank and the collaboration between Cremonini and the producer and musician Alessandro Magnanini for writing unreleased songs for the occasion.
Zuppi and Don Remo Resca
On the occasion of the rehearsals, the archbishop and president of the CEI, Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi, and the rector of the Basilica of San Luca, Don Remo Resca, also showed up to accompany Cesare Cremonini. Together they walked through all the porticoes, a UNESCO heritage site which are being celebrated these days with a festival all for them. A big surprise for Cremonini himself the visit of Zuppi and the rector of San Luca, which this morning the singer wanted to share with some shots and videos on his social profiles. And already from this small first taste you can bet on the magical atmosphere that you will be able to breathe in a few hours, as you will also be able to bet on its success, who knows if even greater than that of last year.
Light can walk
“Tu come Me” is the title given to the project by Cremonini himself for this 2024: «Bologna is the city where light can walk – in fact, the artist himself said during the presentation -. Light as a symbol of hope but above all of confidence in ourselves. An art installation is not entertainment, it is vision, immersion, discovery, sharing. Being an artist today, in my opinion, it goes through a constant dialogue with people, with other artists, with the constant flow of emotions that we experience and that we have no time or voice to express. You like Me. This is the title I gave to this edition. All the art that can be created revolves around these three words. We proceed through visions.”
